Nan Desu Kan 2023 Maid Raid

There are so many various sub events and meetups at various conventions, which are notdirectly correlated to the main event itself. One of these such events that I took part in was the Maid Raid hosted by Isabelle and Ryan, which is a yearly meetup of people dressed in maid costumes, sometimes as part of their main cosplay.

Thhis event is just a fun little get together of people from the convention itself, a little bit of music, games and all aruund enjoying their time together. This years Maid Raid wasn't too fancy, the main game they had was a convention wide scavenger hunt for little paper cat heads of various colors. This brought along its own little inherent chaos as people searched for them along the halls of the Gaylord Convention Center.

For roughly 30 to 45 minutes people were running around in their little maid cosplays trying to find these little cats to rack up points. They were checking every little nook and cranny one could think of, all to get enough to win a Black Cat Stuffed Animal.

I am excited to take part in the Maid Raid Meetup again next year as this last round was honestly a blast. Some things I personally will do differently is to get more pictures, and make sure I have enough camera battery to do so.
