Colorado Anime Fest 2024
I had an absolute blast going to Colorado Anime Fest in 2023 and plan on going back in 2024! I’m excited to see what’s to come and what new adventures I’ll find myself in here. The panels were enlightening and fun to experience, gave me a real insight into how the world of Anime is like in the west, as well as a bit of how to proceed in the future to try my own hand at voice acting. Like previous conventions I’ll be there with my camera, so be sure to find me! I can’t wait to go back.
Nan Desu Kan
I am Excited to announce that I will be at Nan DesuKan or NDK for the first time! I will be there as a member of the press carrying around my camera to do some photos and shoot for my compilations. I’ve been wanting to go to this convention since i was in high school, but now that little dream has come through. I will also be joined by my channel artist, who you might be seeing in cosplay during the convention! We hope to see you there!
Fan Expo Denver 2023
Aiming to be at Fan Expo Denver 2023 and hope to see you all there! Come find me and my camera! I’ll be roaming around the convention center all weekend so it might be a bit of a wild goose chase. There’s a few panels announced that I would like to aim for as well.
It is also now officially confirmed that I have a press pass this year! I am seeing what interviews I can set up, as well as what events within the convention I would like to try and cover individually.
The Cosplay Atelier COAF Open House 2023
This was a special open house event hosted by the Cosplay Atelier in Arvada, CO to experience their photo studio and meet other cosplayers and photographers who went to Colorado Anime Fest 2023. Seriously a fun experience and gave me the inspiration to get back into photography.
Colorado Anime Fest 2023
I went to Colorado Anime 2023 and had such a blast! I’m excited for next year and hope I can make it. Check out the cosplay compilations over on Youtube!
Denver Fan Expo 2022
I’ve been going to this convention for years, back when it was Denver Comic Con, and then Denver Popculture Convention. I originally volunteered and recorded footage when I wasn’t at a booth to help with the merchandise sales. This was the first year I didn’t volunteer and was nearly overwhelmed by a sense of freedom on what I could do, including actually going to panels. I’m so stoked for Fan Expo 2023!!!
Denver Pride Festival 2019
This was the first ever Pride Festival I ever went to, and it was seriously an enlightening expense to have. Seeing all the different kinds of people of all walks of life really made things clear that I couldn’t keep a mindset that I had, otherwise I would just be part of the problem. I grew up in a Christian/Catholic conservative household, and was also actively in the Alt Right rabbit hole on Youtube. I would honestly want nothing to do with my past self if I could help it, but we grow and learn. We can only do so much individually, but with the help of those around us we can continue to better ourselves and help protect the right for our LGBTQIA+ friends and family, especially in the current political climate that the United States, and other areas of the world are in
Denver Pop Culture Con 2019
I had been going to the convention for a few years now, but when the Comic Con copyright controversy happened, so many conventions had to change their names, as well as ownership some instances. This was a unique case here, especially since Pop Culture Classroom is a nonprofit organization that helps out the community, so it hit them hard in many ways. I was still volunteering here and running around the convention with my camera when I had the time in-between shifts.
The Last National Vans Warped Tour | Denver Stop 2018
I only went to a couple of the Vans Warped Tours, but each time was an absolute blast. I got to listen to some awesome music from small and larger more well known bands alike, meet new people and have an experience I’m not likely to ever forget. Here’s to hoping that the Warped Tour comes back with a bang one day!!
Denver Comic Con 2018
This was my second Comic Con ever, as well as my second year volunteering. This convention is always a blast to experience seeing all the different kinds of cosplays people have put together. What’s also awesome is seeing the growth that each cosplayer has as I see them again each year, sometimes I swear they’re unrecognizable at first glance with what they have accomplished! This is especially for when you see new cosplayers then even a year later seeing their progress
Denver Comic Con 2017
This was my first ever Comic Con to experience, and it was truly awe inspiring and overwhelming. I had to volunteer to make sure I could afford to go, but honestly even that experience behind a merch booth was something I’ll remember forever. This is where my ideas for the cosplay compilations I do on Youtube started, and have done so for every convention since this one. Looking back on it now, its awesome to see the cosplayers I first met here and continue to see year after year, even at different conventions
